The Workshop

While designing my website, I knew I wanted to dedicate a page to my personal creative projects. My friends label me as a "busy body.' I am constantly working on projects, whether it be at the salon or at home. I surround myself with "unfinished projects" so I'm inclined to tap into the creative inspiration needed to keep me happy. I have not yet found one form of art to focus on so you'll be sure to find a range of art mediums in my work. Hopefully, this can give someone the inspiration needed to get started on their own project, whatever that may be.

Realistic Drawing of Hair

I've taken up a new hobby and have been practicing techniques involved in drawing realistic hair. It's incredibly relaxing and oddly satisfying when you take a step back and see how it's coming along.

The Photo Wall

Here's a fun project for anyone. Print out family photos in black & white. Purchase poster boards from Michaels. Glue pictures to poster boards and hang on a wall in your place. This is our favorite wall in our loft.

The Moody Den

Another wall in the moody den. I went to Savers and purchased several frames then I painted the frames to match the wall. This creates texture to attract the eye.

I wanted to create a somewhat "moody" room out of our den. Its naturally dark in there since there's no windows so we decided to make it a "chill spot"

Our Solar System Project

A fun way to pass the time with your kids. We did this as a family project last winter. Set up the table right in our living room and started painting the planets.
